Established in 1992, Moy Villa Football Club are based in Kilgellia, Attymass, Ballina, County Mayo. The Senior Team currently compete in Premier B (third-tier), of the Mayo Association Football League, where they finished in 3rd place in the Division in 2011.
Moy Villa won the Tonra Cup for the First Time in July 2010, defeating Killala 8-7 on Penalties in the Final in Milebush Park, Castlebar. Moy Villa 'B' made their Mayo League debut in 2010 and will be competing in League Three of the Mayo League in 2012, following their relegation from League Two.
At Youth Level, Moy Villa currently compete at U-12 & U-13 level, in Division Two of the Mayo Youths/Schoolboys League and there's plans being explored to set up a Youth Academy in the future.
Moy Villa have funded the building of their own clubhouse, in conjunction with volunteers from the local community. In 2006, our club also built an Astro Turf facility, with floodlights, with some funding being provided from the Sports Capital Development Fund.
