Moy Villa B defeat Ballina Town B in local derby
Moy Villa B were the victors as they beat local rivals, Ballina Town B 2-0 in their League Two Clash.
Trevor Marshall opened the scoring within the opening minutes of the game and Brendan Lackey scored from a free kick to ensure Villa B got the three points against 10-man Ballina Town B.
The two sides meet again in the league next Sunday in Belleck, Ballina. Kick-off 2.30pm.

Moy Villa hammer Kiltimagh/Knock B to advance in Connacht Cup
Moy Villa came from 3-2 down at half-time, to defeat Kiltimagh/Knock United B 9-3 to advance to the Quarter-Finals of the Connacht Gold Cup.
John Durkan scored five of Villa's nine goals of the evening to ensure passage intio the next round.

Moy Villa B held at home by Fahy Rovers B
Moy Villa B had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Fahy Rovers B in their League Two encounter in Attymass.
The hosts were denied victory in the second half with 10 minutes to go, the McDonnell Cup winners equalised to end the match in a draw, which was the second time this season that the sides finished in a deadlock.
Villa B play host to Ballina Town B this Saturday in Attymass, hoping to take all three points in the local derby.

Moy Villa beaten by Ballyheane in Super League
Moy Villa were beaten 4-3 away to Ballyheane in the Elvery's Sports Super League.
The hosts were 4-1 in front in the second half, but Villa scored two goals to narrowly lose 4-3.
Villa are up against the runaway leaders, Westport United, hoping to be the first side to avoid defeat in the League this season.
The match takes place in Attymass on Thursday 17th July with a 7pm kick-off. 
Moy Villa host Kiltimagh/Knock Utd B in Connacht Gold Cup and Moy Villa B receive 'bye' in Connacht Gold Shield
Moy Villa were drawn at home against Kiltimagh/Knock United B in the Third Round of the Connacht Gold Cup. The match will take place on Thursday 10th July in Attymass with a 7pm Kick-off.
Moy Villa B received a 'bye' from the Second Round of the Connacht Gold Shield, meaning that they will be competing in the Quarter-Finals of the competition.  
Moy Villa beaten heavily by Castlebar Celtic in Super League
Moy Villa were beaten in Attymass by Castlebar Celtic 7-3 in the Elvery's Sports Super League. Villa were 5-0 down at half-time as they had no answer to Celtic's attacks on goal.
The second-half, Villa were the better side and scored three goals courtesy of John Casey & John Durkan (2).
Villa now face Ballyheane on Saturday looking to put behind the heavy loss and hope to get all three points against last season's runners-up.

Moy Villa B advance in Connacht Gold Shield
Moy Villa B were comfortable 5-0 winners over League One side, Straide & Foxford United B in the First Round of the Connacht Gold Shield in Foxford.
Villa raced into a 3-0 lead at half-time. Keith Moran opened the scoring from the penalty spot and Michael Cullen got on the scoresheet. In the seccond half, Shane Devers completed his hat-trick to seal a comprehensive win and advancement into the Second Round of the Connacht Gold Shield.

Mayo Football League launch new Crest
The Mayo Football League have announced that it has decided to adapt a new crest which is representative of the history of Mayo while displaying a modern soccer image.
An explanation - 'nine parts, nine hills, nine Mayo baronies, combine St Patrick clover and river connects them all.'
Moy Villa held by Manulla in Super League
Moy Villa were held to a 1-1 draw in their Elvery's Sports Super League game away to Manulla.
John Durkan scored in the first half to give Villa the lead. Manulla got their equaliser in the second half.
Villa are now in Third Place in the Table at the half-way point and are proving that they are adapting to the pace of Super League Football.
Next up is a Home game against Castlebar Celtic in Attymass next Sunday. 
Moy Villa B defeated by Snugboro United B
Moy Villa B were defeated 3-2 in their League Two clash away to Snugboro United B.
The B Team equalised twice in the game and were unable to add a third goal which would have ensured at least a draw.
They have now gone three games without a win in all competitions. 
Moy Villa defeat Mulranny to advance in Connacht Gold Cup
Moy Villa defeated Mulranny United 4-0 in the Second Round of the Connacht Gold Cup.
John Durkan scored twice, while John Casey & Mark Moyles added to the goal tally to ensure advancement into Round Three.
Youngester Jimmy McDonagh made his debut start for Moy Villa, whom previously played in the B Team and Club Captain Mark Beattie made his long awaited first start of the season after a long injury absence. 
Moy Villa beat Fahy Rovers in Super League Seven Goal Thriller
Moy Villa came twice from behind to beat Fahy Rovers 4-3 in the Super League in Attymass.
John Durkan put Villa 1-0 before Fahy struck twice to take a 2-1 lead going into Half-Time.
Daniel Melia headed home to equalise for Villa before falling behind again. A change was soon made, Brendan Egan came off the bench to go in goal, with Barry Molloy who started in goal played outfield, while Momme Reibisch was substituted. The change proved crucial as Molloy caught a loose ball to tap in from close range to make it 3-3.
The winner came shortly after as Stephen Melvin headed home to give Villa a vital win and extend their unbeaten League form to five games.

Moy Villa B beaten in McDonnell Cup Semi Final
Moy Villa B were beaten 3-0 in Castlebar against Fahy Rovers B in the Semi Finals of the McDonnell Cup.
All goals came in the second half of the game. 
The McDonnell Cup Final will see Fahy Rovers B face Charlestown Athletic B, who beat Ballina Town B 1-0 in the other Semi-Final clash.

Connacht Gold Cup & Shield Draws
Moy Villa were drawn away to Mulranny in the Second Round of the Connacht Gold Cup. The tie will take place this Thursday 19th June in Mulranny with Kick-off 7pm.
Moy Villa B were drawn away against local rivals Straide & Foxford B in the First Round of the Connacht Gold Shield. The tie will take place a week later, on Thursday 26th June in Foxford with a 7pm Kick-off. 
Lotto Draw from Wednesday 11th June
There was no winner of the Club Lotto Draw which took place in Katie's Corner, Ballina on Wednesday Night.
The numbers drawn were 2, 11, 19, 21. There was no jackpot winner.
€20 Winner was Kate Langan, c/o Hollister ULC Ballina. Next Draw takes place next Wednesday 18th June in Katie's Corner, Ballina at 9.30. 
Moy Villa held away to Iorras Aontaithe
For the second time in three days, Moy Villa were held to a 2-2 draw, this time away to 10-man Iorras Aontaithe.
John Casey scored twice for Villa and had victory almost secured until Iorras won a late penalty which was converted to earn the bottom side a share of the spoils while Villa were stunned as they dropped two more points in the league. 
Next up for Villa is a home game against Fahy Rovers in the Super League which takes place on Sunday in Attymass. Kick-off 2.30pm

Moy Villa B beaten by Charlestown Athletic B
Moy Villa B were comprehensively beaten by Charlestown Athletic B 5-1 in Attymass in League 2.
Villa's consolation goal came in the second half from Michael Cullen who scored for the second consecutive game.

Moy Villa B Draw Fahy Rovers B in McDonnell Cup Semi Finals
Moy Villa B have been drawn away to play Fahy Rovers B in the McDonnell Cup Semi Finals. The match will take place in Castlebar on Saturday 14th June with Kick-off at 7pm.
In the other drawn Semi-Final, Charestown Athletic B have home advantage against Ballina Town B  
Villa held at home to Straide & Foxford in Super League
Moy Villa were held to a 2-2 draw against Straide & Foxford in the Super League encounter in Attymass.
Daniel Melia gave Villa and early lead before S&F equalised before half-time. John Casey, on as a substitute scored to give Villa a 2-1 lead but Straide & Foxford scored with the last kick of the game to secure a point. Both teams are level with 8 points with six games played so far.
Moy Villa B defeat Hollister
Moy Villa B defeated Hollister 2-1 in Ballina. Villa's goals came from Michael Cullen & Brendan Lackey. 
The result means Villa B climb to fourth in League 2 with their second win of the campaign and will face Charlestown Athletic B on 7th June in their next league game.
Moy Villa advance in Connacht Gold Cup
Moy Villa got the better of their Super League rivals, Charlestown Athletic in the Connacht Gold Cup First Round. 
Trailing 2-0, Villa responded with a goal from John Durkan and two from Shane Devers to ensure that they advanced to the Second Round of the Competition.
Moy Villa B exit Connacht Gold Cup
Moy Villa B were defeated 5-0 by Straide & Foxford United in the First Round of the Connacht Gold Cup.
The B Team will now enter into the Connacht Gold Shield with the draw to be made at a later date.
Moy Villa B defeated in League Two Opener
Moy Villa B were unable to improve on the First Team's result the night before as they were defeated 4-2 against Ballina Town B in Belleck in the opening League Two Match of the season.
Sean Garvin & Trevor Marshall scored for Villa who trailed twice before going into Half-Time level at 2-2 but Ballina Town B pulled away in the last quarter as they scored twice to confirm victory. 
Moy Villa lose to Ballina Town in Super League Opener
Moy Villa were narrowly beaten by Super League Champions, Ballina Town 1-0 in their debut Super League Match.
They went behind in the first five minutes of the match and despite chances to equalise they couldn't find the target. It was a spirited display and should serve them well in the campaign.
